It was moved and seconded to accept the minutes of the previous meeting without reading them. Passed.
The treasurer submitted a written report indicating that the chapter had a cash balance of $5,390.87 as of November 30, 2005.
The newsletter editor indicated he would continue to publish short histories of Western fire apparatus manufacturers.
The secretary reported we have 339 members as of November 30, 2005. The chapter membership continues to decline, as does that of national SPAAMFAA.
There was no old business.
All current directors serving a 2004-2005 term of office were re-nominated for their positions, subject to confirmation of their intent to run. The secretary will contact each before December 31, 2005. Additional nominations are welcome before December 31, 2005. All nominees must be paid members of both the California Chapter and national SPAAMFAA in order to hold office. Passed.
Several events were discussed. They will be announced in the newsletter and posted on the web site.
The California Chapter web site has been reformatted, and new features have been added. Ongoing maintenance should be much easier.
The meeting was adjourned at 1:39 p.m.
